Are you ready to be part of a team that drives the delivery of services and technology at AstraZeneca? As an Associate in Global Clinical Solutions (GCS), you'll play a pivotal role in delivering global centralized services across drug projects and other activities. Your efforts will ensure the availability of high-quality data from clinical operations processes and systems, contributing to the timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven delivery of Clinical Development programs. You'll also engage in life cycle management of processes and systems/tools, participate in improvement projects, and contribute to functional and regional initiatives. Accountabilities:

  • As a member of a specific activity team, the Associate will:
  • Support GCS services
  • Maintain, check, and process data accurately to meet deadlines and standards
  • Support life cycle management and business continuity for operational processes, systems/tools, standards, procedural documentation, and training materials
  • Provide support to user communities, including conducting relevant process/system activities and preparing communication for stakeholders across GCS and AZ
  • Contribute to business cases for continuous improvement projects
  • Participate in change initiatives
  • Support activities that ensure compliance
  • Work with teams and colleagues across the organization to support consistent ways of working and adherence to best practices

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Level of education – undergraduate studies
  • Proven organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to follow tasks through to completion and understand how tasks combine into an efficient workflow
  • Demonstrated concern for quality and standards, good team-working skills including cooperation, willingness to learn from others, sharing relevant information, adaptability, self-control, self-accountability for achieving objectives, applying best practices
  • Computer proficiency
  • Good time management
  • Communicative English skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Exhibit AZ Values and Behaviours
  • Demonstrate professionalism and mutual respect in all interactions

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Some experience with document management systems e.g., Electronic Trial Master File
  • Some experience with clinical trials systems e.g., IxRT
  • An understanding of the clinical study process
  • Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in the environment of clinical study delivery/clinical development processes
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical drug development and clinical study processes and associated government regulations, ICH GCP
